MEET OUR TEAM

Brent O. Denzin

Partner
Brent Denzin’s path to Denzin Soltanzadeh LLC began with an Equal Justice Works Fellowship working with rural and suburban Wisconsin communities to promote sustainable economic growth. During his fellowship, Brent developed a range of legal strategies that would later combine to help develop and operate land banks and development authorities in Illinois. Brent’s early experience representing community groups in impact litigation, challenging international crude oil pipeline projects, developing statewide municipal stormwater rules, and filing citizen suits, add to the skill sets of the DENZIN team to provide a holistic approach to land banking and community development.

Stephen M. Soltanzadeh

Partner
A former Illinois Assistant Attorney General, Stephen Soltanzadeh spent his early career distilling complex legal concepts and applying them to unique situations.
After years of presenting arguments to the appellate courts in the region, including the Illinois Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals, Stephen shifted his focus to community development.  As the DENZIN team navigates uncharted legal territory, Stephen helps design strategies and systems to allow land banks to flourish and meet new challenges.
